It was a typical over priced rotating restaurant. The view was cool at first, but then fades into a mediocre meal for the price.

Downtown Calgary has so many attractions and the Calgary tower is a must if visiting Cow town. Visitors can go up to the top and stand on a glass window over looking the city which is pretty scary but an amazing experience. Also for special occasions there is a restaurant at the top called sky 360 which is renowned for having the best chefs and steaks in Calgary. ! It can be pricy but it's defiantly worth the money ! It's close to a c-train which is off centre street making it easy to get there and transport is free within the downtown limits so happy exploring !

Perfect place to see Calgary from the top 360 view. One can enjoy tasty meals in the restaurant and pick souvenirs in the Tower's tourist shops.

Great views of the downtown core and most of the city. It's lost a bit of it's mystique in recent times as it isn't the tallest building in town anymore.

The distinctive Calgary Tower is a 600+ foot free standing observation tower in Centre of Downtown. It was originally called the Husky Tower and was conceived as part of an urban renewal plan and to celebrate Canada's centennial of 1967. It opened to the public on June 30, 1968 as the tallest structure in Calgary, and the tallest in Canada outside of the CN Tower in Toronto.

Like it's Ontario Doppelganger, there's a glass floor extension on the north side of the tower's observation deck so you can look straight down on the streets below (in this case on 9th Avenue South and Centre Street). There's also a rotating restaurant above and a Calgary Tourism Office (and souvenir) below. $17 will get you to the top for a view and for a better price I'd recommend taking a 1.5 hour drive over to Banff.

When this was built in the 1970s, the Calgary Tower was the tallest structure in Calgary. It is now dwarfed by a number of office towers. However, it is still a good place to visit for the viewing floor with its 360 degree view of the city or for a meal in the revolving restaurant.
