Great swimmable beach located in Cabo San Lucas. Plenty of options for dinning and drinks. Relax with a beach side massage at one of the great seaside locations.

Beautiful beach on the Sea of Cortez. Extends along the Eastern end of Cabo San Lucas. It is swimmable and has lots of restaurants along the beach - right up against the sand.

Medano Beach (Playa el Médano) is the main safe swimming beach in Cabo San Lucas and the most popular. It begins at the east side of the harbor and extends along Cabo San Lucas Bay all the way to Villa del Palmar.

Playa El Médano (The Dune Beach) Medano Beach encompasses several miles of safe swimming beach beginning at the east side of the harbor entrance all the way to Villa del Palmar on the east end of the bay. Close to town, Playa El Médano (Medano Beach) is the main and most popular Cabo San Lucas Beach. Here, hotels, bars and restaurants compete for space, offering all the goodies most people come to expect from a prime tourist destination.

Crystal clear water! You can walk the shore and spot fishes, that's how clear it is! It's a very long half-moon shaped beach with great vistas on sunny days.

Two downsides for me: the first was the obnoxious ruckus in the area of Billygan's and The Office. When I go to a beach I want to enjoy the serenity of nature and hear the soothing sounds of the ocean, not loud music and annoying cheering/screaming. The upside to that is that the beach is extensive and you don't have to stay in that area, unless that's your kind of ambiance. The second downside is the unsightly sectioning of the swimming area. Because of the water taxis and water sports, the beachfront swimming area is sectioned off with ropes. It looks awful, but I guess it's for safety reasons; and once you're in the water swimming, you forget all about it and it makes you feel safe.

I spotted tons of fish and small rays. Definitely bring your snorkeling gear! You may also want to bring some cash with you because there are a lot of walking vendors selling all kinds of trinkets and odds are your eye might catch something you'll want to purchase (just don't forget to haggle a little; the first price is almost never the final price). - December 2016

A wide curved beach on the Sea of Cortez side of Cabo. You can walk from the Marina or take a water taxi for a few dollars.

Good food and fun entertainment. It's more of adult entertainment if you ask me since some of the games could be inappropriate for children (wet t-shit contest). But the sunset view and food is great. We are at mango deck and enjoyed our selfs. The prices are little higher then other local places but not too high for a beach side tourist area.

The thriving center of the waterfront in Cabo San Lucas is this 2-mile stretch of wonderfully soft beach bordered by lively cantinas and beautiful resorts. Head to Médano Beach (“The Dune” in Spanish) and stake your spot in the sand to spend the day admiring views of partying vacationers downing tequila shots, wandering vendors selling everything from bracelets to hair braiding, families with children enjoying the gentle waters, parasails soaring above the bay, and (of course) magnificent views of the spectacular rock formations at Land’s End marking the meeting of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. Médano is people watching central. If you feel the urge for a snack, a margarita or a jet ski ride, all these services are easily within reach.

Medano beach is one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo and it is over run with people and restaurant bars. Center of the party scene where everything is happening. Really fun to swim around though!

This is the main beach in Cabo and a short walk from the downtown shopping areas and marina. Lots of people trying to sell random things, but it's a really pretty beach with nice sand and clear water. There are roped off areas safe for swimming, as water taxis and jet skis are riding around all day.

There are also restaurants and hotels on the beach where you can buy food and drinks, so you could spend your whole vacation on this vast strip of sand.

Medano Beach is the nearest swimmable beach to Casa Esquina, about 10 minutes to your toes in the sand. Take the beach chairs and umbrella that we provide your enjoyment, pack a cooler of cold ones and plan for a few hours of fun. some swimming, some people watching, maybe a banana boat ride, or a parasail for 2? Have fun haggling with the many beach vendors or rent a jetski or try Stand Up Paddling...it's the beach to get busy...or not!!!
