I loved VT! The people are friendly, the food is great and locally sourced. I wouldn’t recommend a trip if you’re interested in partying. BUT if you’re looking for the outdoors and relaxing this is a great choice. You can also drive up to Montreal in 1.5hrs from here. Highly recommend

Burlington, Vermont is a great place for the art and historic lovers! Its cobblestone street, like "Church Street", are lined with exquisite places to eat and local shops for pretty much anything you are looking for, or never knew you, must have!

The local Vermonters are very nice and helpful and almost seemed disconnected from the rest of the USA....in a good way. It feels almost as if Vermont is a country of it's own.

The fact that billboards are illegal in all of Vermont, allow for it's natural AMAZING seasonal beauty to really shine and not be filtered out by signs everywhere.

The Autumn in Vermont is a must see for every one!

A wonderful oasis in New England. While a college town, this city offers so much in the form of shops, restaurants and activities.

Burlington is a fun college town just a quick flight from NYC. With amazing craft beers, a local arts scene, music every night, and great shopping on Church street, it's a perfect weekend getaway! If you're for a day trip take a drive to sample local cheeses and visit Hillfarmstead Brewery-you won't regret it.

Burlington VT is a cute town that offers a walking street, or a street with no traffic. Lots of classic shops and unique places. Its a great day trip, but we only recommend if the weather is not working out.

There's a reason Burlington is on just about every top 10 list. Incredible food, art, music, theater, shopping. Enjoy Church Street, but don't miss the waterfront and the Pine Street beer/arts corridor.

This town on Lake Champlain gave the world the ultimate quirky college band (Phish) as well as Ben & Jerry’s, which started here in a former gas station—and no doubt helped Burlington rank highly in the survey for ice cream. It also scored well for cool souvenirs—like the locally made maple syrups and stuffed Hugg-a-Planets at the Peace and Justice Store—and wine, such as the bottles from East Shore Vineyard. For something quirkier, check out the tasting room for Citizen Cider, which features artisan alcoholic ciders including the AmeriCran, made with fermented cranberries.

Fun and vibrant city in the middle of Vermont on Lake Champlain. It's popular among college kids and the outdoorsy folk alike. My grandfather lived here for years and I remember loving the diversity of the city and all it had to offer.

Beautiful setting on Lake Champlain, this town has it all - great food and BEER!
Lots of outdoor activities, many lodging and dining options. Wish I could have stayed longer, we were on our way from Quebec to the Adirondacks. I loved it here.
Vermont is such a green state in more ways than one!
