Bulgaria Holidays

With one of the highest concentrations of archaeological sites in the world, Bulgaria defies its Soviet-era stereotypes. Beyond humorless border guards, organized crime and corrupt police shaking down foreigners for bribe money is a natural and archaeological beauty that surprises most visitors' expectations. tourism outreach campaign, naming a recently discovered 2300-year-old Thracian fortress the 'Bulgarian Machu Picchu,' and comparing their Water Bull in Rabisha Lake to Scotland's Loch Ness Monster. The country has a long road ahead, but Bulgaria has seen far worse struggles than trying to attract tourists. The capital of Sofia is 2500 years old, and littered with ancient Orthodox churches and museums, and backed by Vitosha Mountain, where you can ski within minutes of downtown Sofia. The splendid coast resorts along the Black Sea have beautiful beaches and fabulous seafood and, In lively Varna, the striking Dormition of the Theotokos Cathedral. Bulgaria is also one of the only European countries where you can still find native European wildlife like bear and lynx.

Bulgaria is a small country with a lot to offer the traveler. On the east is the Black Sea warm and inviting in summer. The Black Sea Coast has beach resorts, but also bird watching and water sports. The cities of Sofia and Plovdiv are full of cultural attractions and fascinating old buildings. You may also enjoy trips to the mountains for skiing in winter and hiking in summer. And the food is terrific, a blend of Greek, Turkish and Balkan cuisine. It's also a really economical place to travel. Lots to see and do.

Sofia

Everything a traveller might wish for gatherd in some 110 000 sk km at affordable prices. It ranges from luxary to street markets and deserted villages. I have met people that visited Bulgaria by chance, as a part of a business trip or simply because it seemed as a good idea, and did not know what to expect - once there they loved it.

Omsk

Sehr nette und offene Menschen, jederzeit würde ich wieder nach Varna gehen. Wer eine Auszeit braucht ist am Goldstrand richtig, keinesfalls nur für Leute die Party suchen
