This is hands down the best meal I had in Buenos Aires, and one of the best meals I've ever had in my life (and I've been fortunate to have lots of great meals all over the world!) ... Read more
The simple but delicious (and surprisingly affordable) menu marries interesting flavors, but more importantly, you can tell that so much care and thought is put into every plate. This place is so good that its punk-rock-superstar-chef has his own TV show in Argentina, and has received a million accolades and awards. But nonetheless, when we went in for lunch on a weekday, there he was, cooking on the line. He's clearly devoted to his job. The only thing that some people might be weirded out about is that instead of a menu, the waitress brings over a blackboard and waits for you to decide what you want ... which is common among fancy bistros in Europe, but made me feel self conscious and rushed, since I usually like to peruse a menu at my leisure.

Coming to Buenos Aires on Winter, it's a good place to drink a hot beverage.

Reservations is a must. Just a guy and his mom, with a short list of dishes. Delicious.
