Local from Buenos Aires

As its name suggests, this hotel’s focus is wine – so non-wine lovers need not apply. I thought the interior was a bit Adams Family-esque – quite dark and a bit dead (though that may have been because of the limited number of guests. Because there are only six rooms, there are only ever a few guests, which keeps the place rather quiet). Despite the stiff atmosphere, the hotel was undeniably beautiful. It was originally a house built in the 1930s and has maintained its old-timey feel. There is no restaurant – only a wine bar for wine tasting – but that should only encourage guests to check out the many lovely restaurants in neighboring Palermo Soho.

Miravida is quiet, charming, and stylish. It's a must if you're a wine-lover, as they're not only a great luxury bed and breakfast, but also a wine bar. Because it's so small, the staff really take care to personalize your service and ensure that your stay is absolutely comfortable. They have a wine cellar and are experts at pairing them with delicious picadas (snacks, hors d'oeuvres). The bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable. It was worth every penny paid and I recommend Miravida to anyone who enjoys comfort and good food.

This place was awesome! The receptionist, Felipe, was just amazing. He was really knowledgeable about the neighbourhood, but also incredibly enthusiastic about his role and about the hotel itself. The hotel is also a wine bar and has a wine cellar in the basement where a professional sommelier offer wine tastings whenever guests want to have one. All of the wines they have in the cellar are Argentine and the canapies/snacks they served during tasting were really tasty - including cheese, breads and Argentina’s famous empanadas. The room was fit for a king... really! The expensive velvet, gold trimmings around the mirror and the rich, purple paint on the walls was dramatic - it made a real statement as soon as I walked in. The service was unbeatable and the hotel only has eight rooms, which meant everything was really personalised.

MiraVida is like a luxury bed and breakfast, housed in a stunningly restored home on a quiet street just a block or two from some of the best restaurants and boutiques in BA. The rooms have beautiful details like vaulted ceilings and french doors, and the original dark wood furnishings, floors and accents are combined with richly colored walls. The rooms are a bit small themselves, but feel very cozy and luxurious, and the beds are queens. Most rooms have a terrace overlooking the garden patio. On the main floor is a great wine bar with cheeses and tapas each night, so you don't even need to go out to eat. Downstairs in the wine cellar, small groups can have a private wine tasting with the wonderfully nice owner and taste wines from her cultivated collection. In addition to all this, the prices are AMAZING for the area. Best boutique hotel in Palermo.

This is the best boutique hotel in Buenos Aires for wine lovers! It’s a tiny, boutique establishment that has its own wine bar and wine cellar. The owners are really lovely and know their stuff when it comes to wine. The rest of the staff too is helpful and friendly.
The wine tasting events that they hold regularly are great for meeting people and having a laugh with other guests. The wine cellar is a real hidden gem and the revealed brickwork and musty smell make it a real experience. You can buy wine here to take home with you too and they have some of the best vineyards stocked in their cellar.
The rooms of the hotel are also very charming and I loved the royal blue walls and dark wood furniture. Rooms are a little cramped though. The hotel is quite small and the suite is not as big as other hotels at a similar price. Beds are really comfortable and all the furniture is very classy.
Local area is full of bars and restaurants where you can get a decent steak or relax in a bar. You won’t be short for things to do at night.
Outside patio area is gorgeous and with the candles lit at night it’s very romantic. This hotel is really for couples or groups of friends travelling together. The atmosphere is friendly and romantic. If you’re staying for a longer period then they can arrange a discount. I’d definitely go back.
