Fun day out, especially for families with young kids. Rides, history and lots of chocolate.

If you're expecting a chocolate factory like Willy Wonka you'll be sorely disappointed.
However it is a great place to learn about the process of chocolate and the local Bournville history.
You'll leave the tour with 4 of the Cadbury favourites and finish, as expected in the gift shop for all your Cadbury needs.

This is one of the finest places to go around in Birmingham with the family. Children will love these chocolates and even adults will be tempted to taste it.

This place is very expensive, especially for families. Although I guess chocolate appeals to most people, it is worth doing at least once :).

A short train journey just out of Birmingham and you arrive to one of the most magical places in the UK - Cadbury's World!! So much to see and do (and eat), but from the very first instance, you realise that it's a lot more than just a tour of the factory! A good day out, and if you finish early, then be sure to take a stroll around the rest of Bournville, which has its own places of interest and was actually built around the Cadbury's factory!

OK for kids, not so much for adults. Struggled to make it fill 3 hours. Should be renamed Dairy Milk World, that's all they talk about!

Good for the kids, not so hot for adults although there is quite a bit on the history of chocolate and the uses of cocoa. You'll also find some background on Bournville - the Quaker village, not the dark chocolate!
Worth a visit but not good enough for a return trip
