Bermuda Holidays

Pink sands are the iconic image that most often comes to mind when Bermuda is mentioned. Yet Bermuda has far more to entice the visitor than exotically colored sand. A mix of British and African cultural influences, Bermuda is officially a self-governing British territory, and one of the last vestiges of the empire. UNESCO World Heritage site St. ... Read more
George is full of winding cobblestone streets, while cosmopolitan capital Hamilton is flush with fine dining and nightlife. Of course, snorkeling and swimming are justifiably popular, and the golfer will be thrilled at the abundance of courses. Throw on a pair of Bermuda shorts and you'll be ready to immerse yourself in the bays, forts and beaches of this charming island territory.

somewhere “tropical.” The temperatures in the 60s and low 70s (18-22C) from December through March are great for golfing and getting off-season rates, but not as much for lying on the beach or spending time in the water. High season in Bermuda is when the climate is at its warmest, peaking around 85F (29C) in August. Hurricane season, which officially lasts from June to November, is cause for some concern when booking a trip, but Bermuda does see fewer storms than the mainland United States.

A beautiful friendly clean island! Pink sandy beaches and crystal clear water! Quite a lot to do and see on this island! Excellent seafood and you have to try a Dark and Stormy and a Rum Swizzle !

One of the smallest countries in the world. It was fun to mingle with the locals who were so friendly towards visitors. I felt so welcomed wherever I went.

Personally, I just didn't really like Bermuda. I went there on a short cruise. I didn't find the people to be very friendly. They seemed very resentful of the tourists. Now, I live on a tropical island over run with cruise ships and tourists and it can be irritating at times but that isn't an excuse to be mean to people.

Very nice place to visit. Took a cruise that docked here for three days and had a great time. We visited Horseshoe Bay beach which was beautiful and a lot of fun to explore. Hamilton is a nice town to visit in the evening, they had a street festival when we were there which was pretty neat. We did a kayak tour of part of the island through our cruise line which was a lot of fun and quite the workout. Another fun thing to do would be to go SNUBA diving. A really great experience which allows you to see some of the great sea life the island has to offer. And the best part was how pleasant everyone on the island was. Really a great vacation spot.

I was in Bermuda in early January to run the Bermuda Triangle Challenge: a one mile, 10k, and marathon all in one weekend. The weather, although rainy and stormy at least part of each day, was still a lot warmer than back home. I didn't do much to explore the island because I was saving my energy, but Hamilton was a nice little town.

One of the more expensive islands I have visited, but definately worth the trip. The island is pristine and the flora beautiful. By renting the moped, we were able to travel the island and see the sights.

Stayed at the Pompano Beach Club. Loved it. The Lambs know how to do hospitality. Greatest Sunsets, warm water, colorful houses, cricket, easy to get around, and love the Oreo Cookie drink! Been back 3 times!
