Probably the best-known hotel in Belgrade, and certainly the one with the most dramatic exterior. The interior is relatively nice (thought admittedly a bit dated); you would be forgiven for thinking you were actually in Russia, as the name of Hotel Moskva suggests.

Local from Belgrade

One of the most famous hotels in Belgrade and a building of great historical value. It has four stars, but its grandiose café is even better than the rooms itself. Come here and treat yourself with delicious cakes from the patisserie or simply enjoy a cup of coffee. I suggest Moscow Schnitt, which is the hotel’s signature cake created in 1974.

Thessaloniki

The old hotel, renovated, still retains something of the glamor and luxury of the last century and takes you to another era. Centrally located, with excellent staff and a breakfast that will be left to you! Still, if you do not choose it as a place of residence, you should visit at least its notorious piano coffee and thoughtful gastronomic choices.

The hotel Moscow (Moskva) is one of the most traditional in the city. A step away from the Tasmajdan park, it is an old building that tops its roofs with two pointed domes. Although it is not the most modern, it is the most famous hotel in the city and its suites have included characters like Albert Einstein, Robert de Niro and Indira Ghandi. It is also famous for its pastry, a tea with cakes on a cold afternoon in Belgrade is an excellent choice.
