view and an experience that you will not soon forget. You see old style Spanish houses and businesses as you ride the blue tram to the top of the mountain. Once at the top, you visit the early 20th century amusement park, including riding the Ferris wheel, which gives you the best view of the entire city of Barcelona. Visit the incredible catholic cathedral, the architecture of which is as beautiful as the panoramic view of Barcelona and took over 60 years to build!

Nice place with nice panoramic view of the city!

From the park attractions nothing really interesting just as a museum!

This was worth walking 8 kilometers from inside Barcelona for. Breathtaking architecture mixed with panoramic views and rides for the kids!

Took an hiking experience... walking from Plaza Kennedy to the top of Tibidabo. It was like exciting yet tiring. I wore a wrong shoes and hurted my feet all the way to the top. Got a chance to have a picnic with traditional Catalan F&B prepared by the host. Also had a wonderful opportunity to see herbs and beautiful flowers along the way to the top. My host was also saying of we were luckly we could see wild animals and birds.
There are a lot of options to go to the top: hiking, cycling, private vehicle or using public transportation ~ tram or bus. One of the bus is come/from Plasa Catalunya and it costs 3 € (rate 2018), one way. Pretty convinience.

The best point of view of the city, with their most visited amusement park, as also accesible by foot or bike to many short or long treeks to Collserola park.

If you want to see the city of Barcelona from the best vantage point, I'd suggest Mount Tibidabo, rising above the city and topped by its gothic glowing monastery. There are two ways to get to the top of the mountain, the first is to take the old blue tram up Avenida Tibidabo and then the funicular and the second is to hike from Tibidabo station. It's a fairly steep climb and takes about an hour, but I prefer the hike, surrounded by nature and admiring the views. At the top you'll find an old-fashioned amusement park, which is a lot of fun, as well as the impressive Tibidabo Monastery.

This place has the best hill top view from the northern Barcelona. If you have kids, there is a amusement park for them. It's a win win sightseeing place for family.

It's very difficult to go there by foot. You have to take the funicular. (expensive : 7.70€)

The magical little amusement park at the top of the mountain in Barcelona was first built in 1889, and possesses and old world charm infused within it. Views of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea don't get much better than from the top of the ferris wheel at Tibidabo, but if rides aren't your thing, poke around up here until you stumbled upon the zoo or the stone cold stunner of a church, Temple de Sagrat Cor. The tram ride up the mountain alone is worth the ride, but I imagine you'll have a difficult time climbing all that way up into the sky and not staying long enough to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

High above the city of Barcelona, on Tibidabo mountain, statue of Christ atop a church overlooks and protects the city. I took a S line train and then a mini bus ride to get to the tallest point where Temple Expiatori del Sagrat Cor is located. The view from there is amazing.

Tibidabo’s amusement park is a family day out with a difference – the backdrop of stunning cityscape views, stretching right to the Mediterranean horizon. Laid out on different levels of the mountain, all the traditional funfair rides are there, from flying chairs and dodgems to a truly vertiginous roller coaster ride. Tickets are on the pricey side but then again, you get a whole day’s entertainment. To save on costs, pack a picnic to scoff at one of the outdoor seating areas.

An amusement park on a mountain, overlooking Barcelona and being overlooked by a church... does it get any better than that?

Come for the theme park, stay for the view. Located near the giant tv tower (Torre De Collserola) on the mountains near the city skyline, the church, the theme parks are all a nice touch but its the view over the mountains at sunset that will give its special touch
