attractions. It is lined with businesses of all types and famous landmarks, including multiple buildings designed by famed Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. A note of warning: the street is known for high concentrations of pickpockets, and as a seedy area after dark. But do not let these details discourage you, as millions of tourists and locals enjoy Las Ramblas every year.

The arguable heart of Barcelona. It is always full and buzzing with people. Many places to eat and explore. Beware of pickpockets.

A well-known place in Barcelona but somewhere I tend to avoid because it is too touristic. I suppose it’s worth a quick look if it is your first time to the city. But there are much better places to eat and shop!

Awkward at first none of ATMs will work here unless you have a text sent to your phone. Oddly enough that puts you a bit on edge so you should be most aware of your surroundings Gypsies pocket pickers like Paris.

So now prepare to over stimulate your senses with food boisterous sounds of the city. Great bargains for souvenirs that one should not splurge in one store walk, and visit all until you have every one for your loved ones and especially yourself.

This was a lovely street that needs to be seen at least once if nearby. Be careful about the pickpocket :)

Lovely strip in old Barcelona full with all sorts of shops. It's very touristy so it gets crowded. Keep an eye on your belongings since the area is known to be a hangout for pickpockets.

Over crowded. Head to Passeig de Gracia instead. Too much noise and vendors.

Lovely place to visit. I have only been once but looking forward to visiting again soon. Great place to people watch and see the beautiful architecture of Barcelona. I have heard pick pockets are rife in this area so be vigilant, although we had no experience of this.

At only 2 streets and in the same area, the most peculiar and popular pedestrian street of the city, full of life and colours, where in its 1,3 kms between Plaza Catalonia and the monument of Colon next the sea you could enjoy a lot and differents thinghs, like the funny and traditional Boqueria market, the Liceu Opera house, and over all its intense life with actors, artesanal craft and flowers stands.

This is the main tourist drag and is chock full of gift shops, bars, restaurants and the sort. Keep an eye out for pickpockets as where there are tourists there is inevitably petty crime. Also beware that late at night the area is frequented by prostitutes but they usually give up if you politely decline.

Living statues all over the place, lots to see, market, painters who will paint your portret for a small price?

It's all about being seen my mom said, maybe it's a little like Dam Square in Amsterdam and the streets around it. But i must say, the living statues here on the Ramblas are way much better then you find them in Amsterdam, so go see them for yourself, have fun with them, try to take pictures without giving a penny, and give one to find humour and tons of fun with them.

Once you give them something they are open for a lot of treats, like taking pictures as many as you like, or to watch the mini show they can provide.

It's worth a stroll, but there was nothing special to me here. It does provide plenty of souvenir shopping. Though the walkway is large I found it overcrowded with other tourists and not comfortable having to dodge or make way for other pedestrians. Oh, and watch out for pickpockets! I find it more pleasing to walk down the other cute Barcelona avenidas with little Spanish shops.

The most famous road in Barcelona and a god place for shopping. We went there during a sales season so everything is fine.

Las Ramblas is often the first landmark that most tourists identify with the city. It is the central most boulevard which cuts through the heart of the city centre and is a vibrant and lively promenade filled with Barcelona action at its best. Food choices for every pocket and taste. Magnificent street entertainment and like any major tourist centre professional pickpockets and bag thieves.

Las Ramblas is quite good for families. There are less living statues now, but it's still a good place to go for a walk and take some photos
