We stopped by this place for a bite to eat and were seated at the bar. It's located in a touristy area, but the food is actually pretty good and not the tourist trap I thought it would be. Nothing had that wow factor though, but I would definitely recommend if you're already in the area.

Nice cozy restaurant to have tapas and a glass of wine. Seems to be mostly tourists who eat here but still delicious.

If you like tourist spots, crowded place and factory restaurant this place is for you. Otherwise, I'd rather advise you to go for another more authentic tapas restaurant. For example check out Cal Pep or Paco Meralgo.

Classic Barcelona, or at least what I imagine it has looked like for decades. The wait was a bit long, but we ordered a jar of sangria to pass the time. The food was exemplary classic Catalan dishes, a perfect way to be introduced to Barcelona.

My favorite tapas bar in the city. No reservatsions, and don't epect to be sitting any time soon. Instead start yelling orders to the waiters behind the bar and sip wine while you taste various diffferent tapas while you wait. So much fun! Food is delicious and the ambiance is one of the most spanish places you can imagine.

Best Restaurant in Barcelona !! REALLY. Tapas, pinchos and plates. Everything is incredible. And cheap for the quality! But be ready to wait like an hour before eating... This place is awesome !!

YUM YUM YUM! Cerveceria Catalana does some of the best Spanish Tapas I have ever had. Everything we tasted was extremely delicious and it was served fast and quick. The wait can be long since this place is quite popular, but definitely worth it. The atmosphere is also extremely fun and active which definitely helps. My favorites were the ham sandwiches, potatoes and crema catalana. Amazing!

Be prepared for a long long queue to have a table! But it is definitely worth the long wait.

This is by far the best tapas in Barcelona. We sat here for 3 hours and tasted practically everything on the menu. Great Atmosphere, Drinks & Service.

Pleasant Hill

Gayle and I spent a most pleasant Sunday evening strolling hand-in-hand through the various friendly confines of the L'Eixample neighbourhood. We enjoyed the local flavor, the sparse crowds, the block-specific architecture, and admiring some of the more formal restaurants that we're open yet (or not at all on Sunday). It was our last night and Spain and we really appreciated winding down.

We walked past Catalana and were impressed by the decor and the energy. We came back and took an outside seat in the middle of Community action. We ordered a plate of calamari, cheese, bread, and a bottle of Cava and just soaked it all in. Service was friendly, the vibe was comfortable, and it was one nice way to toast our very enjoyable trip.

Delicious and great tapas but you can't understand the menu if you don't know Spanish or Catalan:)Prices are not low.Very crowded restaurant.A lot of tourist are there and you have to wait for the table.Near Casa Battlo and La Pedrera. After your visit these outstanding buildings of Gaudi you can have a luxury meal.

Young and lively atmosphere, though a bit dark (not the decor, but the lighting). Tapas are delicious, creative, and varied. Go early or be prepared to wait for a table.

If you are going to Barcelona, you HAVE to go to Cerveceria Catalana.
The address is: C/ Malloca, 236, 08008 Barcelona (Phone: +34 932 160 368)
The place is always packed, so I recommend you make reservations ahead. But still, if you get there without reservations, they will take your name and it will take a couple of minutes for you to wait. you can have a glass of wine and just watch the people there. I don't know a better place for Tapas in Barcelona. Its just soooo good!
