Nice hotel with lovely rooms. The bar seemed fairly busy. Really handy for work as the office was just round the corner at Placa Catalunya. Nice central location.

The location is near Plaça Catalunya, La Rambla and Passeig de Gracia. The hotel has very modern interiors including the library in the lobby lounge. Service is also very good. We had a great stay here.

Chic and trendy are two words that come to mind when describing this boutique hotel, situated right off Plaza Catalunya. You can’t get more central than this, located within easy walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and transport links, as well as historic landmarks. The dark wood interiors, ethnic woodcarvings and pieces of artwork gave the hotel an interesting appeal, and although the rooms were a bit on the small side, they too are stylishly decorated. I especially liked the cosy lobby bar downstairs and the Visit Restaurant, focusing on fresh market cuisine and slow food - you’ll find just as many locals eating here as tourists. Upstairs there's a beautiful roof terrace garden – Buenas Tardes with its own trendy vermouth bar and live music during the ‘hour of vermouth’ – the hour leading up to lunch.

A delightful place to experience. The common spaces are stunning: the reading room has a cute garden outdoor, and if you are thirsty you can enjoy a drink at their bar, while in the summer season the rooftop is open too (in the winter just during the weekends, but it is open to the guests from out of the hotel a well). You are basically around the corner from one of the main square in BCN (Placa de Catalunya), and you could decide to see the city with one of the bikes that the hotel itself rents as a service. The rooms, with a classic and classy style, can face the inner garden, a quiet paradise. If you prefer to have some fun instead, show up for one of the Vermuth nights with deejs and groovy music.

This classy establishment is located on the edge of Plaza Catalunya, well-connected for tourism, transport and tapas. The lobby look alludes to the atmosphere you can expect during your stay - there is a chic and trendy feel throughout the lounge, bar, restaurant and terrace. Whilst some hotels can feel like quiet places where people pass, the Pulitzer is very much a place where people meet to enjoy themselves – the subtle buzz of conversations and laughter can be found in the bar. Upstairs the upmarket hipster vibe continues in the guestrooms and corridors (many of which overlook the bar and lounge so best to ask for a quiet room if you don’t want to be disturbed late at night or whilst taking an afternoon siesta). An all-round great hotel, with simple contemporary rooms for business or pleasure travellers, and well-placed to see Barcelona on foot.

Fashionably done up in natural fabrics, mostly in browns, blacks and whites, rooms are plain, bold, and luxurious simultaneously. Located on a side street leading to Barcelona’s central square, Plaça Catalunya, the hotel is within easy walking distance of Barcelona’s gay district, Gaixample, and Raval, popular neighborhoods for shopping and going out. The rooftop terrace has nice views, and the couches seem like a comfortable place to catch some rays. While my preferred method of saving the planet on vacation is walking, the Pulitzer also has nifty folding bicycles you can reserve to see the city on wheels (without using any fossil fuels). Wifi is free, and if you decide against the bike, the people in the reception can tell you how to get to Holmes Place to use the gym (free of charge for guests at the hotel).

The Hotel Pulitzer is nice enough. It's close to mass transit, which is the main reason I chose it.

Located near Plaça Catalunya, and within easy reach of the city’s Gothic and El Born quarters. It is quirky and creatively designed. Not too large...comfortable..but with all of the services and conveniences you need. Food is great here as well. Not completely kid friendly if you are looking to travel with young kids.
