MBK is still a good place to find bargains on Smartphone. I just bought a new original one, saving 40% on the European price.
Take a break of your shopping frenzy in one of the endless dine option on the upper floor of the Mall

MBK shopping mall is very popular with locals and tourists alike as it is littered with shops selling any merchandise at bargain prices. One finds anything from clothing and fashion accessories to luggage, furniture, electronics and even white goods.

Should have been to this place first and spend more time here! There are plenty of apparels with sizes range from xxs to xxxxl. The top most level had a great eatery options as well. You can get so many different delicacies in one place! If you're a traveller, there is also a drop off luggage area.

Compared to all the other malls and shopping in Bangkok, I felt like this was the junk mall full of cheap electronics. The only reason why I sort of liked it is because I like their international food court. It was good for my backpacker budget and fun selecting foods from all over the world.

Some people really enjoy going to this mall because of the prices, not me, to many people and there is not enough space.

Not sure what the big appeal about this place is, I guess everything is pretty cheap, but it's very overwhelming to shop here. There's almost too much going on here.

For me MBK is one of the most interesting places to go if you are looking for anything you want and you are on a budget. People are friendly and helpful and will get out if their way to let you have what you desire.
But keep your eyes open, not everything here is an original :-)
And whenever you get hungry, just go to the upper floors and enjoy some wonderful food.
Haggle with the staff, and you are eligible to some bargains!

If you are after knock-off anything, head to MBK. There are floors dedicated to clothing, IT, telephones and just about anything that can be copied. Don't trust any shop that is selling 'original', it is mostly baloney. Food is great, wide variety, low prices.

It is a big shopping mall in Bangkok. The goods is the same with Chatukchak but the price is not as cheap as Chatukchak weekend market.

8 level complex dedicated for nothing else but shopping. I was looking for to unlock my cell phone and to buy a new memory card for my camera and found out there were a whole 2 floors dedicated to nothing but electronic gadgets. Don't buy at the first store you see, you will need to improve your bargaining skills here! :-)
