fantastic waterfront location and it's enormous facilities make it ideal for events (which is how I happened to stay there). It's no longer as new as some of the fantastic waterfront hotels on Baltimore's piers, but I still rate it a 4 for a long history of quality service.

This is one of the better Hyatt Regencys that I've stayed at! It is definitely a convention type hotel with a 24 hour market that serves Starbucks. The place is located conveniently 5 min away from the cruise port in Baltimore and has a bridge that goes straight to all the action in Inner Harbor! The elevators have a great view as you go up and our room has a partial view of the harbor! Free laundry but you have to ask about it when you check in to get that privilege on your key card.

We stayed here while in town for a wedding on a room block. The rooms are OK but nothing special. The breakfast in the morning is good as expected with a Hyatt. I wouldn't choose the hotel again but it was fine during a wedding.

I was so mesmerized by the super-cool glass elevators that I can't remember anything else about this place ... Ha! No, but seriously, SWANK-CITY yet NOT ridiculously priced. The location is perfect for business travelers (3-5 minute walk from Convention Center), families/traditional tourists (steps away from the Inner Harbor attractions including the National Aquarium, M&T Bank Stadium and Camden Yards), and those interested in some more local flavor/niche/historical/artsy attractions (Ft. McHenry/Federal Hill, Contemporary Museum, Maryland Science Center, Mt. Vernon). Hotel staff is super-professional and unpretentious. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious -- ask for a harbor view for a 50 dollar upgrade! So. worth. it. I love the fact that they have turndown service and a hot tub; definitely made for some great nights of sleep. Wi-Fi is only free in the common areas which is sort of a bummer, but not a deal breaker for me. By far one of my favorite hotels in Baltimore!

This Hyatt Regency has the best location in Baltimore, overlooking the Inner Harbor. It is very popular for weddings and other celebrations, attributed greatly to the top floor event space, with breathtaking views of the harbor and city skyline through a glass wall. Even if you are not there for an event, it’s a great place to stay. You are steps away from the major attractions and restaurants, plus you will probably have a room with a nice view.

Attended a wedding here and stayed the night. Very elegant, beautiful setting. We enjoyed that there were two bars, one in the lobby and the other overlooking the city. Our room was perfect. Everything was perfect. Would love to stay again.
