I loved it! Small town very close to Wadi Rum desert. Very friendly and welcoming people. One of the most amazing and unique experiences I ever had. Definitely going back some day.

This is the port entry to get to Petra and Wadi Rum. Nice, small, walkable and very busy city. Not very touristy but a good way to see the locals and visit the small shops and restaurants. We did get good internet at the Hilton.

A city that never sleeps. Sea, mild temperature, nice weather all year long, Good food, water activities and great deal for "budget" vacations.

I spent a lot of time in Aqaba and really enjoyed the town. The diving is the highlight but just wandering around the market and grabbing a bite at a side-street restaurant were some of my favorite things to do. If you're traveling over-land to or from Egypt, this is a great place to stop.

Aqaba is a relatively small city with a nice park along the sea shore. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes, you can find all types of cuisine there. The specialties are usually based on sea food.
The city center is packed with small streets and people selling everything on each corner.
Aqaba, is a sea resort, or at least is developed as such. The highlight there is diving or snorkeling. The corals and colored fish are just 10 meters away from the short. It's also an option to hire a glass-bottom boat for half on one hour...
