Not as big as Disneyland and more oriented toward Pixar & Marvel now. A lot of the classic attractions are gone - Tower of Terror, Muppets, Tough to be a Bug, etc - so that lowers my rating a bit. Pixar Pier just opened and is pretty fun. Definitely crowded but the autumn season & winter seasons are less so, outside of holidays.

This is the newest part of Disneyland but it is considered separate and a flex passport is needed to be able to go to both parts of the park. I went here the first year it opened and enjoyed Paradise Pier. I am not sure if they have changed that area since. I think there is a Toys Story Land and a Cars Land located in California Adventure now.

My husband and I spent two days in Disneyland for my birthday. The attractions are great, especially if you’re a Disney nerd; food was overpriced but not terrible if you’re expecting it. But what really made the experience great for me was the employees (ahem, “cast members”), they went out of their way to wish me a happy birthday whenever they saw my birthday pin, and always seemed like they loved being there (or at least were good at faking it, haha).

Great complement to Disneyland. Wide variety of areas and food. Like all Disney parks there is a lot of attention to detail.

We loved this park! The marquee ride is the Radiator Springs car ride (TIP: get to the park and opening and beeline for this ride immediately to avoid the queue which can get to 2+ hours) as well as the Soarin’ ride (breath taking). I also just loved strolling through the neighborhood streets and stumbling on surprise characters and performances.

Love this side of the Disney parks. The very creative Cars Land is fun for everyone. Plus the 2 best rides are here: California Screamin' and Soaring.

Disney's California Adventure hosts an array of activity for you and your family & friends. Tour through the land of Monsters Inc., Cars & a bugs life. Drop down multiple stories on a thrilling Haunted Elevator drop & get lost in the sea with Ariels very own grotto. Enjoy the Parades, Food and Night time water show!
Bring an extra blanket, food and try to sneak in your liquor for a less expensive good time:)

I like California Adventure more than Disneyland. I still can’t wrap my head around the concept of paying to stand in line.

I have not been to California Adventure Park in years! Always a great experience. Make sure to get fast passes to to have less of a waiting time for the park rides and to better maximize your time while at the park. And the World of Color water show in the evening did not disappoint!

I am not a huge fan of Disneyland but California Adventure was actually pretty fun. It's probably because my husband and I went on a a weekday and there were not as many people as we expected.

The entertainment shows are all great ! I enjoy the roller coaster is so fun. I suggest people can arrive at 7:30, Disney California adventure opens. People are not so crowded and people can play the favorite facility many times.

California Adventure is kind of the cooler, hipper younger sister to Disneyland. The magic, nostalgia, and classic warm fuzzies can be found within the gates of Disneyland, but the adventure, the adult whimsy, and the thrill can be found across the terrace at CA Adventure. Ride the ferris wheel, the roller coaster with a loop, or visit Cars Land and the carnival-esque pier-front park. Best of all is the World of Color show, which takes over the "harbor" for an enchanting evening display of light, color, and music.

California Adventure has grown a lot from trying to be a more 'adult' theme park option next to Disneyland into more of an extension with some solid rides. Yes, if you've never been to Disneyland, that's probably the first option to go. But you do have some fun options here as well as other activities like more alcohol beverages. Favorite rides here include Soarin' over California, California Screamin', the Bear Rapids Ride, and the Cars ride. (Loved Tower of Terror before it disappeared so can't comment about the new GOTG ride.)

We still talk about those trips to DISNEYLAND!
I fun for everyone,
But I recommend weekdays over the weekends (if you want to avoid the long lines. but it is still fun anytime you go!

Between Disneyland and California Adventure, CA is my favorite one. I love their rides and the overall theme park decorations. The cars attraction is the best.

Loved California Adventure. It's not as big as Disneyland across the way but we spent most of our day on California Screamin. Best roller coaster ever.
