A must see if you’re in Amsterdam. It’s a solemn place, full of history at every corner. Well worth the money.

Visiting this house is something that you need to do. It's so powerful that you'll find yourself walking around in silence. Audio guide is available in a lot of languages so you know what's going on.
Buy tickets well in advance because they will sell out. They're also not a fan of backpacks so avoid taking one in if you can!

Worth the visit and quite a humbling experience. Make sure you purchase your tickets in advance as they sell out quickly.

A must-see place. The best advice I can give: plan your ticket months in advance by checking the website weekly. Even with advance ticket purchase, expect to still wait in line. Once inside, you are queued through the entire house. Despite the huge crowd, the content is just unbelievable.

If you're planning on seeing the Anne Frank House during your visit to Amsterdam make sure you order your tickets before hand, otherwise, you'll have to wait in line for about 2-3 hours. It was nice seeing a piece of history that we studied in high school, but honestly, I really could've done without the wait and visit. There's so much more other things worth doing.

I have always wanted to go to Anne Frank's house and i wasn't disappointed. I would recommend you to buy the tickets beforehand . The ticket includes a headset which explains everything. Very touching and very interesting.

Great experience. Worth the visit. Too much waiting even if you have already purchased the tickets online. Very crowded.

PRE PURCHASE ALL tickets whenever you travel to these popular destination!
I made my poor boyfriend wait with me for over 4+ hours for the anne frank house because it was the only Historical spot i had on my list in Amsterdam. He of course didn't feel like it was worth it and to be honest, nothing is ever worth that long of wait especially when it doesn't help with your cramped legs!

tickets were only $9.50 usd. but ya, don't wait just buy your tickets!!

The Anne Frank house is a must see for anyone traveling through Amsterdam. Your €9 ticket includes a complimentary head set so that you can listen to interactive displays along the way. Make sure you book your ticket online - you can do this up to two months in advance. After 3:30pm, the museum runs on a first come first serve basis, so be prepared for waits up to 1 hour or more, but trust me, it's worth it!

Certainly touristy, but not any less powerful for that. Buy tickets ahead of time to avoid lines. Would recommend Resistance Museum as fantastic alternative.

Anne Frank House is located just inside one of the most artistic place in Berlin. Further inside there is a museum shop and a club but the area is surrounded by beautiful graffiti and artists!

If you've read The Diary of Anne Frank, then is a must see to experience first hand where she grew up hiding. It's very moving, albeit incredibly crowded.

A must-see. Tickets must be booked in advance. Your chances of getting in as part of the post 3:30 pm line are slim and the line is a terrible way to spend a vacation. If you haven't booked in advance, keep watching the website. They often release a few extra tickets -- 9 am is supposed to be the most common time but we got tix added at 4 pm the day before.

Maybe I built it up too much in my mind, having read the book so many times over and over. It's the reason I ever started keeping a diary and likely why I'm a writer today. While it was great to see Anne's own handwriting, the pages she kept and the rooms where she and her family hid, it wasn't as impactful as I expected. Maybe it's the emptiness of the rooms lacking any facsimile of the original furnishings, supposedly at the request of Otto Frank. Maybe it's because details of the Jewish Holocaust are woven throughout history and study so none of the information was new or shocking. I'm glad I went but is it a must, I don't think so.

Highly recommended to visit this place for anyone stopping by Amsterdam. This museum is the house of Anne Frank and inside it narrates the things she and her family been through pre- during post- war. There is an interesting area near the kitchen where they hid during those times.l, just like she describes.

Tip you need to queue slightly before 8:30am otherwise it will be a very long wait.
Enjoy the beautiful canal view while you wait for your turn.
You won't regret it.

At the end of the tour, you'll be brought to an Area where u'll ponder why power meant so much to these people??
