Lovely centrally located canal-side property. The hotel feels more like a converted luxury residential space than a hotel. Service is good and the overall experience feels quite "local." Why just look at beautiful row houses when you can stay in one? The Anne Frank museum is close by and most major sights are walkable if you are in decent shape and don't mind walking. Recently renovated and even more luxurious than during my previous visit.

A beautiful hotel made up of turn of the century row houses. The artwork in this hotel is beautiful and the location along the canal is so quaint. On Sunday morning when all the church bells went off and the sun was dancing on the waters in the quiet of the morning, this city provided a feeling of incredible history.

This is a beautifully renovated historic hotel - formerly a block of canal houses, it flanks two of Amsterdam's most peaceful canals in the old city center. The lobby is welcoming and elegant, while the rooms are cozy and feel old-fashioned, but very comfortable. The larger rooms are split-level, with the bedroom in a loft, which made it feel very homey. The Espresso Bar in the lobby has fantastic coffee, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I loved the art gallery and window-lined walkway leading from the lobby to the restaurant and gym; it allows you to look at the hotel gardens while you walk to the restaurant for a hot meal overlooking the canals. My favorite part of the whole hotel, though: the peace and quiet. Definitely makes for a relaxing stay.

One of my favorite hotels I've stayed in thus far. Apartments on the outside, incredibly nice hotel on the outside. Has an authentic feel and one of the single greatest breakfast buffets I have ever experienced.

Hotel Pulitzer, Amsterdam is unique among the luxury hotels in Amsterdam. It is the most indigenous choice ideally located by the canals reflecting the rich heritage of Amsterdam. Located in 25 restored canal houses, not one guest room is the same, though all very cozy. The unique gardens offer relaxation and you can enjoy excellent food and beverages. The perfect place to stay when visiting Amsterdam.

I liked this hotel.
It is 1 block away from the Anne Frank House and very close to the Leidesplein.
The art work is fantastic.
I have to say that the rooms are all over the place as far as size.
The service though is great exactly what you would expect from a Luxury Collection Hotel.

This is a lovely hotel. Right in the heart of things, beautiful view over the canal (which I had to upgrade to get--I HATE being nickeled and dimed) . . . it's a block of side-by-side Amsterdam buildings that have all been connected to create the hotel, so every room is different. It's not small, and I only stayed there for one night, so I didn't really get to test out their service, but all of our request (early check-in, pls. hold onto bags until room is ready, please hold onto bags after we check out, please change our money, please give us cash because we ran out of it) were granted. (Stayed in Nov. 2010.)
