No visit to Old Town is complete without lunch at Church Street Cafe. Try the red chili enchiladas. Sit on the patio. Soak up the sun and fill your belly with local goodness!
spring, summer, and fall dining on the patio is great. Enjoy the charm, and the NM cuisine.... you'll be glad you did.
This restaurant is located in Old Town-so walking distance from the cottage. It operates inside and in the garden of a former historic residence on Church St. The food offerings here are the best New Mexican style in Old Town. Sitting under the trees in the shaded gardens one can occasionally hear the activites of daily life coming from the still-occupied home behind the restaurant.
Decent food but not outstanding. Service was a bit slow and our server was somewhat "detached." Given the multitude of other choices in the area, we probably won't return.
The best tradional New Mexican in the Plaza. An incredible 150 year old adobe building with lovely traditional decor and an amazing scenic patio. Order the green chicken enchiladas
Church Street Cafe is a traditional New Mexican restaurant, in the heart of old town, offering a pleasant and cozy environment in which to enjoy breakfast and lunch.
Just behind the San Felipe church, the Cafe has New Mexican food and is a fun place for happy hour. There are two patios. Unlike some New Mexican restaurants, you can also get good bread and vegetables...
We went with the Chile Rellenos here. The vegetarian were okay, but the house original with pulled pork were out of this world.
The best New Mexican food in ABQ. I especially appreciate their taquitos with the home-made guacamole. Located in old town, the place was build in the hacienda style. You feel welcome and the ornament makes the place very special.
Large back patio for outdoor dining
