Terminal Information

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is located 16 miles north-east of Paris and has three terminals. Air France and Flybe flights depart from Terminal 2E. Passengers should aim to arrive at the airport at least two hours before the flight to Manchester is scheduled to depart.

There are a range of shops in Terminal 2 where you can buy the latest designer fashion, jewellery or duty free goods, including Fendi, Chanel, Burberry, Bottega Veneta, M.A.C, L'Occitane and Buy Paris Duty Free. Fast food can be found at Brioche Doree, Exki and Naked, to refuel after your shop, or stop off for a drink at Cafe Cubiste or Costa Coffee. For a more substantial meal before your flight, you'll find Frenchy's Bistro, Fauchon and I LOVE PARIS by Guy Martin.

Paris Beauvais Airport

Paris Beauvais Airport, also known as Beauvais-Tille, is located 53 miles north of Paris. There are two terminals and Ryanair flights to Manchester depart from Terminal 1. You will need to check-in before you arrive at Paris Beauvais Airport, either using the online or mobile check in facilities. There are no Ryanair check-in desks in operation at the airport.

Paris Beauvis Airport offers a limited selection of shops and facilities in the departure lounge; a duty free store, restaurant, bar, ATMs, Wi-Fi, tourist information points and currency exchange points are here.

Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport is located approximately 9 miles south of Manchester city centre. There are three terminals; Air France, Flybe and Ryanair flights arrive at Terminal 3.

You can reach the city centre by train, bus, tram or taxi. Trains run every 10 minutes from the airport station to Manchester Piccadilly, in the city centre, with a journey time of around 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the Metrolink tram to Cornbrook, just outside the city centre, this is ideal for those traveling to the destinations outside of the city centre such as Wythenshawe and Didsbury. Trams run every 12 minutes and you must purchase your ticket in advance from the machines on the platforms.

Car hire is available at Manchester Airport from brands such as Hertz and Avis in the Car Rental Village, you will need to take the free shuttle bus which departs from the airport every 10 minutes.

What to expect in Manchester

Manchester is a cosmopolitan city break destination, it played an important part in Industrial Revolution and this can be explored through the many museums, galleries and cultural destinations within the city.
