Aer Lingus recommends that if you are checking in at the airport you should arrive 2.5 hours before your flight departure time, airport check in closes 45 minutes before the flight. Cork Airport in County Cork serves the entire south west of Ireland making it one of the busiest airports in the country. There is one terminal at Cork Airport, the arrivals hall has an information desks and a small number of onward travel options to Cork, Limerick, Galway and Kinsale.

The airport is located 6km to the south of Cork making it easy to reach by taxi or bus. To reach Cork by bus you should take the Bus Eireanna service 226 which departs from outside of the airport terminal to Parnell Place Bus Station, a journey takes around 20 minutes and a single ticket is €5.50. CityLink Ireland bus services travel to destinations outside of Cork such as Galway and Limerick.
