Terminal Information – Arriving
The majority of passengers at Malaga Airport arrive through terminal 3, although some domestic flights arrive at terminal 2. It's easy to walk between terminals. There's a train station within walking distance of the airport. It takes just over 10 minutes to reach the city by train, and tickets cost €1.40* (about £1.10). There's also a bus from the airport into the city, Bus A. Single tickets cost €3* (just over £2.30). A taxi rank can be found outside terminal 3, and all of the major car hire companies are located in the arrivals hall. Remember to compare car hire at Malaga Airport if you're planning a self-drive holiday. Some hotels in Malaga offer airport transfers for an extra fee.
You don't need a passport for domestic flights in Spain. If you're not a Spanish national it's a good idea to bring one anyway, in case of random security checks. We recommend arriving at the airport about an hour before departure.
