Terminal Information – Departing

Liverpool Airport has one terminal with a well equipped departure lounge. There are nine places to eat and drink, ranging from coffee shops (Starbucks) and burger bars (Burger King) to sit-down restaurants (Frankie & Benny's) and pubs (Wetherspoons). Shops at the airport include World Duty Free, JD Sports, With Love from Liverpool and Obey Your Body. There's a Boots for last minute essentials and WHSmith for snacks and magazines to enjoy during the flight. Treat yourself to a pampering session at Heidi & Pearl Blow Dry and Beauty Bar, or for a bit of extra luxury check into the Aspire Lounge. Inside you'll find a peaceful environment with comfy seats, complimentary refreshments, and unlimited Wi-Fi. Prices start at £19.99* per person.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Schönefeld Airport has one terminal which is well connected to the city by public transport. Berlin is an absolutely massive city, so do a bit of research on where you're staying and which transport to take before you fly. The train station is about five minutes walk from the terminal, under a covered walkway. You can either take the suburban trains (S9 and S45) or the regional trains (RE7 and RB14) depending on where you're going. Trains run from the airport until 1:30am. You will need to purchase an ABC ticket, which is €3.20* (about £2.30). Queues for the ticket machines can be long inside the station, so we recommend using the machines on the platform instead. Remember to stamp your ticket before boarding. Another option is to take one of the buses from the airport to the nearest U-bahn (subway) station.

Practical Information

You need a valid passport to travel to Berlin from Liverpool. We recommend arriving two hours before scheduled departure on international flights.
