Flybe offer flights to Newquay from Gatwick and seasonally from Stansted.

Terminal Information – Departing

From Gatwick: flights to Newquay leave from Gatwick's South Terminal. If you're travelling on the Gatwick Express you won't need to take the inter-terminal shuttle. The South Terminal has plenty of restaurants and bars where you can relax before your flight. Tuck into a Cheeky Nandos or go high end at the Caviar House & Prunier. There are two Wetherspoon bars, and a couple of coffee spots. There are plenty of shops too, selling everything from designer clothes and sunglasses to luggage and toiletries. There's a No.1 Lounge in the South Terminal if you want to relax before your flight, and some Regus Express Workpods if you need to put the final touches on your big presentation.

From Stansted: there is only one terminal at Stansted Airport. Most of the shops and restaurants are clustered around a central area. There's something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for a beer and burger or a glass of bubbly and some seafood. High street stores like the Body Shop and Hamleys are perfect for a bit of last minute retail therapy.

Terminal Information – Arriving

Newquay Airport has one terminal and arrivals area. The bus stop and taxi rank are just outside, and are well signposted. If you prefer to use public transport, catch the No.56 bus: it runs between the city centre and the airport. The bus is scheduled every day including Sundays and bank holidays. There are two car hire firms at Newquay Airport, so it's best to book your vehicle in advance. You can find great deals with Skyscanner: compare car hire from Newquay Airport now.

Practical Information

Passports aren't required for internal flights. You will need to show photographic ID at security: driving licenses are fine for this. We recommend arriving at the airport no later than 90 minutes before your flight is due to depart. If you're checking in luggage (for example a surfboard) try to arrive even earlier. Airport security can be busy during school holidays and during commute hours (first thing in the morning and evening). Give yourself a bit of extra time to get through the airport if you're flying at these times.

What to expect in Newquay

Expect surf, sand and fantastic nightlife. The weather in Newquay is similar to what you would get in London. Even in the height of summer there can be rain showers, so it's best to pack for all eventualities.
