The airport advises all passengers on long haul flights to arrive at check-in three hours before their scheduled flight departure time. If you’re travelling through Terminal 4, you’ll find check-in desks located on the first floor, and if you’re travelling through Terminal 5, you’ll find check-in desks on the top floor.

The departure areas at both Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 are equipped with all of the facilities you’ll need to relax, shop or get a bite to eat whilst waiting for your flight. Both terminals are home to high street shops, duty free stores and designer boutiques. There’s a great selection of restaurants, cafés and bars too as well as free Wi-Fi connection and currency exchange counters.

There are a number of options for onward travel from Kuala Lumpur Airport. Taxis and limos are available from outside the terminal building. You’ll need to pre-pay for your journey at a booth inside the Satellite Terminal arrival hall, just after customs and before the public arrival area. Standard metered taxis are available at level 1 and level 3 of the main Terminal.
