From City: City Airport has a small but functional departure lounge. Wi-Fi is available throughout. Places to grab a refreshment include two coffee bars, a restaurant, a sandwich shop and a pub. Retail therapy is provided by Aelia Duty Free, Links of London and Tumi.

The North Terminal has a massive range of shops and places to eat. The upper level is where you'll find most of the eateries including Garfunkel's, Shake-a-Hula and Cafe Rouge. Downstairs you'll find World Duty Free and a number of designer and high-street shops.
From Heathrow: British Airways fly from Terminal 5. Double-check your terminal before going to the airport. Terminal 5 has its own dedicated stop on the tube and train and you don't want to add extra stress to your journey by hopping out at the wrong station. Inside the departure lounge you'll find plenty of high-end places to eat, shop and relax. There's even a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, Plane Food.
From Luton: Luton Airport has one terminal. The departure lounge has a good range of shops including Aelia Duty Free, Boots, Kurt Geiger, MAC and The North Face. Dining options include quick snack stops like Krispy Kreme as well as more substantial places like Frankie & Benny's.

A taxi from the airport to the city centre should take around 20 minutes in good traffic and will cost about £15.* Aberdeen Airport has a car hire centre, located to the left of the terminal. If you're planning a self-drive trip around Scotland remember to compare car hire prices with Skyscanner.

We recommend arriving at the airport at least one hour before your flight is due to depart, ideally a little earlier.
