Terminal Information – Departing
Leeds-Bradford Airport only has one terminal. After security you'll find all the shops you need for picking up last minute essentials, as well as a World Duty Free for little holiday luxuries. There's even a Travelex, in case you forgot to buy your Euros in advance. Alicante is sunny all year round, so don't forget to pick up some sunscreen in Superdrug or some beach reading in WH Smith. Terminal Information – Arriving
Alicante Airport has one terminal, with arrivals on the lower level and departures upstairs. Public transport is available, with Bus C travelling from the airport to Alicante bus station. The bus stop is located on the departures level, and one-way tickets Alicante cost €3.85* (about £3). Once you reach the city centre you can find onward transportation if required. Car hire is available from Alicante Airport, with all the big brands present in the arrivals hall. There's a taxi rank outside the arrivals area, and trips into Alicante from the airport usually cost €20-25* (about £15-20). If you're arriving in the evening or on a weekend, expect to pay a little more.

What to expect in Alicante
Alicante is one hour ahead of Leeds. The local currency is the Euro (€) and the language is Spanish.
