British Airways operates direct flights from Glasgow to Ibiza throughout the year, Jet2, Thomas Cook Airlines and Thomson Airways operate flights to Ibiza on a seasonal basis.

Terminal Information

Glasgow International Airport

There are two terminals at Glasgow Airport; all flights depart from the main terminal however Jet2 and Thomas Cook Airlines check in desks are in Terminal 2, the two terminals are connected by a walkway.  All airlines have check in desks at the airport but it is recommended that you check in online in advance.

The Glasgow Airport departure lounge shops include Accessorize, Dixons Travel, Victoria’s Secret, World Duty Free and The Fashion Place alongside all of the airport essentials. A shop and collect service is available for those who want to collect their shopping upon their return. There is a great selection of food and drink catering for all tastes such as Fresh Food Central, Mozzo Coffee House, Frankie and Benny’s, Upper Crust and Wetherspoon’s The Sandpiper.

Other facilities at Glasgow Airport include a children’s play area near WH Smith, up to 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi, and a premium lounge.

Ibiza Airport

Ibiza Airport serves the islands of Ibiza and Formentera and is located on the south coast of the island, just 7.5km from Ibiza Town, 20km from San Antonio and 27km from Es Cana.

When travelling from Ibiza Airport to your destination you have car hire, taxis and bus services available. The bus services from Ibiza Airport are ideal for those staying near the main routes. The L-10 bus runs from the airport to Ibiza Town every 15 minutes in July and August, every 20 minutes between April and October and every 30 minutes from November to April. A single fare is €3.50. This service also runs to the ferry port for ferry connections to Formentera. The L-9 bus service travels to San Jose and San Antonio on an hourly basis, a ticket costs €4. The L-24 bus runs to Cala Nova and Santa Eularia hourly with a single ticket costing €4.

If you are staying away from the main resorts, or would like the freedom to explore the island at your own pace and reach some of the more secluded beaches there is car hire available from Ibiza Airport. The desks for Hertz, Avis, Europcar and Enterprise are located in the Arrivals Hall.

Taxis depart from the taxi rank outside of the airport terminal building, during busy periods in the summer months you may have to wait for the next available taxi. A taxi from the airport to Ibiza Town will cost around €20.
