Airlines that fly from Edinburgh to Tenerife
Norwegian, Thomson Airlines, Easyjet and Ryanair all offer direct flights from Edinburgh to Tenerife. All airlines fly to Tenerife South Airport.
The airport enjoys a convenient location to the west of Edinburgh and getting there is relatively straight forward with direct tram and bus links. You should arrive at Edinburgh Airport at least two hours before your flight departure time, allowing enough time to check in and go through the security checks especially during peak summer periods.
Norwegian and Thomson Airlines both have check in desks at the airport as well as online and mobile check in. If you are flying with Easyjet or Ryanair you must check in online in, which closes 2 hours before your flight. Bag drop desks are available if you need to check in luggage, the desks close 40 minutes (45 minutes for Thomson Airlines and Norwegian flights) prior to your flight departure time.
The departures lounge, located on the top floor of the terminal building provides all the pre-holiday essentials, from shopping and dining to spa treatments and relaxation. Here alongside all of the airport essentials you will find MAC, Kurt Geiger and Jo Malone for the fashion and beauty purchases and Liquorice Tree and The Airport Gallery for gifts and art. Coffee chains, a seafood bar, Yo! Sushi and The Gathering Restaurant and Deli give a great choice of meals and snacks. Wi-Fi access is available for up to two hours per device.
For those travelling with children there are three play areas in the departures lounge as well as baby changing facilities.
