Terminal Information – Arriving
Goa International Airport, also known as Dabolim Airport, is located 18 miles from Panaji and 2.4 miles from Vasco de Gama. Buses go to and from the city centre however they are not very regular and are often crowded. The closest railway station to the airport is Dabolim Rail Station, which is about half a mile away. From here you can get trains to Margao and Vasco-da-Gama, two of the major railway stations in the area. Taxis are available outside of the Airport arrivals area. There is also a pre-paid taxi booth outside of the terminal which offers fair, fixed rate cabs to nearby destinations. The journey time by taxi to Panaji city centre is around 40 minutes.
Although this is a domestic flight we recommend bringing your passport. You'll be asked to show some photographic ID when you check in and usually before you board the flight. Aim to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight is due to depart.
