Restaurants and coffee bars at Bristol Airport are available to suit all appetites. Starbucks and Burger King are great for a quick takeaway, while restaurants like The Cabin and Dexter's are better for a sit-down meal. The Brunel Bar & Kitchen is a good spot for some pub grub or a quick pre-flight tipple.

Terminal Information – Arriving

At Schoenefeld: Schoenefeld Airport has one terminal. The fastest way to reach the city centre is by S-bahn (train). The station is about 5 minutes walk from the terminal building. Berlin is a massive, sprawling city so make sure you know exactly where you're going and which train to take. There are free apps which make it easy to navigate on public transport. You will need an ABC ticket to reach the city centre, as Schoenefeld airport is in Zone C. These cost €3.30* (about £2.30). Validate your ticket at the machine before getting on the train. If your ticket hasn't been stamped you could be fined €50* (just over £35). Buses also stop outside the airport, and you can either take these into the city or to the nearest underground (U-bahn) station.

If you want to drive yourself, compare prices for car hire at Schoenefeld Airport.

At Tegel: Tegel Airport also has one terminal building. There are bus stops and a taxi rank outside the airport terminal. You will only need to purchase an AB ticket, as Tegel is slightly closer to the city than Schoenefeld. The airport buses tend to go to two transport hubs: S+U Zoologischer Garten (serving the west of the city) and Alexanderplatz (serving the east). The location of your hotel will determine which bus to take.

Remember to compare car hire at Berlin-Tegel Airport if you fancy a self-drive holiday.
