Belfast is slightly cheaper than Glasgow: a three course meal for two will set you back about £15 more in Scotland's second city. The temperature is fairly similar, although Glasgow is generally wetter than Belfast. Scottish weather can be quite unpredictable, so we recommend packing your umbrella and your sunglasses if you're visiting during the summer. Northern Irish banknotes are not common in Scotland, but they're generally accepted by most shop assistants and bartenders.
