Cheap flights carrier Wizz Air will launch new flights to Memmingen Munich West and Venice Treviso from Katowice.
The flights, which will operate on a twice-weekly basis, come into effect on September 22nd and September 29th respectively.
From winter, both routes will increase to three-times-weekly.
The number of Wizz Air’s services from Katowice will increase to 22 once the new flights come into effect, with fares starting from €12.49 (£10.79).
The airline, which has become the largest low-fares carrier in central and eastern Europe, now has a fleet of 26 Airbus A320 aircraft.
It operates from bases in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, the Czech Republic and Ukraine.
Elsewhere, Wizz Air will introduce three-times-weekly flights to Dusseldorf (Weeze) from Budapest on September 21st.
It will also launch twice-weekly flights to Eindhoven from Sofia on October 25th.
Over the course of 2007, Wizz Air carried 2.8 million passengers on its Polish routes.
Since it was established in September 2003 it has transported approximately ten million travellers.
