London Luton has welcomed the arrival of Italian-based Wind Jet to the airport, which is offering new flights to Forli.
A twice-weekly service will operate to the Italian destination from tomorrow (July 2nd), with flights to be operated on an Airbus 320 aircraft.
London Luton airline manager Simon Harley said he was "delighted" to announce Wind Jet’s arrival at the airport.
"With the established Italian community in the local area we are confident these flights will be extremely successful," he commented.
Mr Harley added that low fares airlines were continuing to ensure that business and leisure travel were "increasingly accessible to millions of Europeans", with the launch of the new flight set to afford more choice to passengers.
Travellers flying to Forli will benefit from easy access to the destinations of Ravenna, Rimini and San Marino, while flight timings have been designed for those who want to make onward connections to Catania and Palermo in Sicily.
