Passengers travelling from Heathrow’s Terminal 5 may be in for a surprise should they stumble across the filming of a new flashmob television advert.
This is because mobile phone company T-Mobile is moving in 300 singers and dancers as part of its latest TV campaign, which will be broadcast just 48 hours after shooting is complete.
Guerrilla dance and singing routines will be featured in the ad, which is set to catch a few passengers by surprise when filming begins.
Nick Cullen, Heathrow’s chief operating officer, said he hopes the advert will showcase Heathrow’s newest terminal building.
"London has much to thank multiculturalism for and it’s air travel that has made much of this possible, he commented.
"We’re delighted that T-Mobile’s spectacular homecoming will capture the spirit of Terminal 5 and keen to see just what the finished article looks like on Friday."
Last weekend, which preceded the half-term break, 842,600 passengers flew from the UK’s busiest airport.
