Cheap flights carrier Jet2.com will double its number of flights to Tel Aviv from Manchester in the spring.
Twice-weekly flights will commence on March 22nd following the success of the new route, which was originally introduced in May.
Since then, more than 10,000 people have flown to Tel Aviv, with Jet2.com the only airline offering the route in the north of England.
Jet2.com boss Philip Meeson said he is "delighted" with the route’s success and the "great feedback" the carrier has received from customers since it was launched.
"Because of this response, we’re happy to announce that we’re extending our Tel Aviv service to twice weekly from March 2010 giving our passengers more choice and flexibility when they travel," he commented.
Mr Meeson went on to say that flight schedules are planned in accordance with passengers’ "needs and demands", allowing leisure and business passengers alike to get the most from their trip to Israel.
Jet2.com is planning to launch new flights to Dubrovnik, Split, Reus and Prague from the north-west airport next summer.
