Bmi regional has announced plans to add a new flight from Edinburgh to Copenhagen next month.
The new return service will start on July 21st and operate alongside two existing bmi flights to Copenhagen from the Scottish capital.
This will take the number of weekly bmi flights from Edinburgh to Denmark up to 13.
From Copenhagen, passengers will be able to connect with flights to Oslo, Helsinki and Stockholm.
Peter Kenworthy, commercial director of bmi regional, commented: "By adding an extra service to our Edinburgh-Copenhagen route we are able to open up connections to many additional international destinations for our Scotland based business and leisure customers.
"Together with our all jet fleet, convenient flight schedules and low fares we have a market leading product."
This new Edinburgh flight is the latest addition at Copenhagen Airport; Air Berlin is to double the number of flights it offers to the Danish capital in November as part of its winter schedule.
