US cheap flights carrier AirTran Airways will launch new flights to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport from Harrisburg later this year.
The route, which will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, will take effect on November 5th using Boeing 717 aircraft.
Kevin Healy, AirTran Airways senior vice president of marketing and planning, said that the flight ensured that travelling to Florida’s holiday destinations from the Pennsylvanian capital had "never been easier".
"Passengers will enjoy our low fares and high quality service," he commented.
Each flight will have a capacity of 117 passengers, with customer benefiting from 100 percent fresh air, the option of flying business class and Gogo wi-fi.
AirTran Airways has been ranked as the number one low-cost airline in the US in the Airline Quality Rating for the last two years.
The carrier recently completed the installation of Gogo Inflight Internet on its fleet of 136 aircraft, making it the first major airline to equip all its aeroplanes with wi-fi internet.
