Hungarian cheap flights carrier Wizz Air has announced that it will move its flights from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport to Forli Airport.
The airline currently operates flights to Katowice, Warsaw and Cluj from Bologna, with the move coming into effect on March 29th.
A Wizz Air statement said: "This step enables Wizz Air to achieve better cost and operational efficiency, underlining its commitment to the low-cost business model."
The airline added that holidaymakers from Poland and Romania would be afforded better access to the popular Adriatic Sea resorts close to Rimini.
The first flight between Katowice and Forli will depart on March 30th. Meanwhile, the Warsaw to Forli flight will begin on April 1st and the Cluj to Forli service will start on June 13th.
Passengers who have booked flights to Bologna after March 29th are being told of the schedule change on an individual basis.
Earlier this month, Wizz Air celebrated the two-year anniversary of its first flight from Bucharest.
