Cheap flights carrier Wizz Air has rescheduled some of its flights from Bucharest after a night curfew was introduced at Baneasa Airport.
From Sunday (October 25th), the airport will implement a curfew between 00:00 and 07:00, forcing the airline to make changes to its schedule.
Wizz Air, which is the largest low cost carrier in Romania, has managed to reschedule its flights between October 25th and December 16th, and is in the process of revising its Christmas timetable.
A company statement said that passengers who have already booked tickets will be informed of the changes shortly, while Wizz Air stressed it has "done its utmost" to minimise the effects of rescheduling for passengers.
One of the most popular routes affected is that between the Romanian capital and London Luton, which moves from 06:00 to 07:10.
Return flights will now take off at 13:10 instead of the previous 07:55.
Elsewhere, Wizz Air will introduce cheap flights to Paris Beauvais from Gdansk on December 18th.
