Low-cost airline Wizz Air will launch new cheap flights to Brno from London Luton this winter.
The Hungarian airline will begin services to the Czech Republic’s second-largest city on December 16th, with the route initially operating on a three-times-weekly basis.
In addition, Wizz Air will also increase its number of flights to Prague from London Luton to nine times a week, a change that will take effect on October 31st.
This will rise to a further two additional weekly services between December 19th and January 16th, which is the airline’s busiest winter period.
Attila Dankovics, Wizz Air’s head of marketing and customer experience, said the carrier is "extremely delighted" with its Czech Republic operations.
"While some airlines are closing down routes and decreasing capacity, we continue to grow allowing more and more passengers to enjoy our truly low fares coupled with excellent travel," he commented.
In April, Wizz Air will open its 13th operating base in Belgrade, where one of its Airbus A320 aircraft will be based.
