The Hungarian airline will begin the seasonal route on June 27th. It will run twice a week throughout the holiday season until September 5th.
Varna, which is often referred to as the marine capital of Bulgaria, is the largest seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
Wizz Air already operates flights to Burgas, another well-known Black Sea resort, from Luton, while the airline also serves Sofia, the country’s capital.
The carrier also offers flights to Rome and Dortmund from Sofia.
Varna will become Wizz Air’s 16th destination from Luton, which is one of London’s five international airports.
Wizz Air recently opened its tenth base in Timisoara, while it also committed to further capacity growth at Prague.
The airline will base an additional Airbus A320 aircraft at the Czech capital in July, while it will increase its number of flights to Rome Fiumicino, Brussels Charleroi, Paris Beauvais and Eindhoven.
