Cheap flights carrier Wizz Air will launch new flights to Dusseldorf (Weeze) from Budapest on September 21st.
In addition to the introduction of the three-times-weekly flight, the airline will begin flights to Eindhoven from Sofia twice a week on October 25th.
It was also announced that Wizz Air’s route to London Luton from Varna would operate all year around.
The flights to Dusseldorf (Weeze) and Eindhoven are the 40th and 41st new routes launched by the carrier so far this year.
Wizz Air has 11 bases across central and eastern Europe and has a fleet consisting of 26 Airbus A320 aircraft.
In the past 12 months, it has transported approximately 6.5 million passengers.
Earlier this month, the airline announced that it would be expanding its operations from Gdansk by basing a third aircraft at the airport.
This will allow Wizz Air to introduce flights to Milan Bergamo and Eindhoven from the Polish city.
