European cheap flights carrier Wizz Air will launch additional flights on some of its routes from Prague this autumn.
The airline will increase its number of flights to London Luton, Rome Fiumicino, Milan Bergamo, Brussels Charleroi and Eindhoven from the Czech capital.
Wizz Air, which is now the largest low-cost airline in central and eastern Europe, will base a third aircraft in Prague, allowing it to expand its route network from June next year.
Jozef Varadi, Wizz Air’s chief executive officer, said that the new aircraft would allow the carrier to introduce and expand both its summer and year-round services.
"With these frequency changes we are stepping up immediately to accommodate the increased demand and from summer next year we will be operating a three aircraft base in Prague," he commented.
The airline will launch new flights to Catania and Bologna Forli on September 21st and October 28th respectively.
Wizz Air currently offers 12 flights to Italy from its Romanian bases.
