Skiers booking flights to the Pyrenees this winter can benefit from both snow and sun, Toulouse-Blagnac Airport has said.
Head of leisure traffic development at the airport Chantal Pitin said ski resorts in the Pyrenees are "special" owing to the unique weather and the quieter atmosphere compared to the Alps.
"Last winter, we had a lot of snow in the Pyrenees so it was great and people enjoyed their stay there," she commented.
Ms Pitin went on to say that it is easy for skiers and snowboarders to reach the Pyrenees thanks to charter flights from London, Bristol and Edinburgh.
Toulouse-Blagnac Airport is located 4.1 miles from Toulouse and served almost six million passengers last year.
Skiers heading to Andorra can board one of two daily coach services to their resort as the country does not have a commercial airport.
Midi-Pyrenees is the sixth-largest tourist region in France and has a 4.5 per cent share of the market.
