Global Distribution Systems (GDS) Travelport has improved its online itinerary tool which will benefit passengers in the Asia Pacific region.
The firm has enhanced its ViewTrip feature which will now allow customers to view, print and email itineraries, expense receipts and electronic receipts via a website in 23 languages.
It says that the new tool combines the best of former solutions Galileo ViewTrip and Worldspan My Trip and that those who used to use these products will now have access to even more information such as driving directions, maps and flight status.
"This is the first time we have used the Travelport name on one of our global products and is tangible evidence of the benefits our recent integration (the merger of Galileo and Worldspan to form Travelport GDS), will bring to our customers," said Abigail Lee, product marketing manager for Travelport, Asia Pacific.
Travel agents in the region also look set to benefit from the enhanced tool as they will have access to a white label version of Travelport ViewTrip.
This can be tailored to include the agents own branding, promotional material and adverts.
