Unless you’re travelling in a group and are desperate to sit next to your family or friends, don’t join the queues of overzealous passengers who spend 15 minutes queuing to get on the plane just so they can maximise their time waiting to take off onboard the plane.
Instead, take your time. If you’re travelling alone, there’s really very little advantage of being the first to board the aircraft, especially on short haul flights. Even that dreaded middle seat is bearable for an hour or two.
Similarly, ripping off your seatbelt and attacking the overhead locker as soon as the wheels touch the tarmac isn’t going to make the plane doors open any quicker.
Do yourself (and your fellow passengers) a favour; lower your blood pressure by learning the art of patience.
