Thomson Airways operated the most on-time flights over the course of last summer, the 2008 UK Charter Airline Punctuality report has revealed.
The airline, which is a partnership between Thomsonfly and First Choice Airways, was the most punctual among carriers flying to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Stansted airports.
Thomson Airways managing director Chris Browne said the report findings are an "outstanding tribute" to the airline’s staff.
"Our strong punctuality record means that people booking their 2009 summer holidays can be confident we’ll get them direct to their destination as quickly as possible," he said.
The report, which is available on FlightonTime.info, published punctuality and delay figures for the period between April 1st and October 31st. Figures were taken from departure records from UK airports.
Thomson Airways announced last week that Turkey was proving to be a "real holiday hotspot" this summer.
In response to increased demand, the airline said it would launch four extra weekly flights between the UK and Turkey once the holiday season begins.
