Regular passengers on budget airline easyJet have been offered a way of making their loyalty pay off when it comes to flight boarding.
A new credit card sized membership card is now being offered to frequent flyers with the airline, allowing holders automatic access to the easyJet Speedy Boarding option every time they fly with the carrier.
Costing only £75 per year until the end of April, those holding the easyJet Plus card will be able to beat the queues at check-in and at the boarding gate by simply showing the card.
Peter Gerstle, easyJet product development manager, said: "easyJet Plus is the latest exciting product from the airline to make life easier for its passengers.
"easyJet Plus means passengers will receive discounted Speedy Boarding every time they fly, saving them both time and money."
The airline has claimed that customers will be able to recover the costs of the card and start saving after only five return trips, making it a worthwhile investment for business travellers racking up enough air-miles over the year.
Speedy Boarding Plus services are also being developed by easyJet at several airports—and will soon enable takers to benefit from both priority boarding and a dedicated check-in service.
